Teff is the latest &#8220;superfood&#8221; to hit American food shelves and thanks to its nutrition profile, it has caught the attention of one health-conscious group in particular: runners.<\/p> <figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/images-prod.healthline.com\/hlcmsresource\/images\/AN_images\/amaranth-on-spoon-1296x728.jpg?w=1155&amp;h=1528\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure> <p id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-2\">Ao contr\u00e1rio do que os americanos podem pensar, teff n\u00e3o \u00e9 novo. An ancient East African cereal grass, teff has been a staple of Ethiopian cuisine for thousands of years. Fazer meu pr\u00e9-adolescente comer um biscoito carregado com prote\u00edna, c\u00e1lcio, vitaminas e ferro e consider\u00e1-lo sobremesa? Eu definitivamente vou fazer mais desses.<\/p> <p id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-16\">Mas a grande quest\u00e3o \u00e9, todo esse teff me fez um corredor melhor? Eu tenho comido teff semi-regularmente por cerca de duas semanas agora, e eu vou dizer que eu me sinto um pouco mais forte quando eu corro. Talvez seja psicol\u00f3gico, ou talvez seja o ferro &#8211; um nutriente que eu n\u00e3o me canso. Teff tamb\u00e9m me deixa mais cheio por um per\u00edodo mais longo do que minha tigela tradicional de mingau de aveia.<\/p> <p id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-18\">Teff magicamente me transformou no pr\u00f3ximo Shalane Flanagan?
