Une plus grande nomophobie \u00e9tait significativement li\u00e9e \u00e0 une plus grande somnolence diurne et \u00e0 plus de comportements associ\u00e9s \u00e0 une mauvaise qualit\u00e9 du sommeil.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons constat\u00e9 que les \u00e9tudiants qui \u00e9prouvent plus de \u00ab\u00a0nomophobie\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9taient \u00e9galement plus susceptibles d\u2019\u00e9prouver la somnolence et une mauvaise hygi\u00e8ne du sommeil comme de longues siestes et des heures incoh\u00e9rentes de lit et de r\u00e9veil\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l\u2019auteur principal Jennifer Peszka, PhD, professeur de psychologie au Hendrix College \u00e0 Conway, Arkansas.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que Peszka s\u2019attendait \u00e0 ce que la nomophobie soit courante chez les participants \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 surprise par sa pr\u00e9valence \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Parce que notre \u00e9tude sugg\u00e8re un lien entre la nomophobie et un sommeil plus pauvre, il est int\u00e9ressant de consid\u00e9rer quelles seront les implications si la gravit\u00e9 de la nomophobie continue d\u2019augmenter, dit-elle.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude a impliqu\u00e9 327 \u00e9tudiants universitaires ayant un \u00e2ge moyen de 20 ans. Les participants ont rempli plusieurs questionnaires, dont le Questionnaire sur la nomophobie, l\u2019\u00e9chelle de somnolence d\u2019Epworth et l\u2019indice d\u2019hygi\u00e8ne du sommeil.<\/p>\n<p>Peszka a \u00e9galement not\u00e9 que l\u2019une des recommandations courantes pour am\u00e9liorer les habitudes de sommeil est de limiter l\u2019utilisation du t\u00e9l\u00e9phone avant et pendant l\u2019heure du coucher. Cependant, elle a dit que pour les personnes qui ont la nomophobie, cette recommandation pourrait exacerber l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 au coucher et perturber le sommeil, plut\u00f4t que de l\u2019am\u00e9liorer.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0La recommandation de r\u00e9duire l\u2019utilisation du t\u00e9l\u00e9phone au coucher, qui vise \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer le sommeil et semble assez simple, pourrait avoir besoin d\u2019ajustement ou de consid\u00e9ration pour ces personnes, dit-elle.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche comprenait les co-chercheurs David Mastin, Ph.D., et Bruce Moore, Ph.D., de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de l\u2019Arkansas \u00e0 Little Rock, o\u00f9 les autres coauteurs sont des \u00e9tudiants chercheurs de premier cycle : Shalonda Michelle, Benjamin T.
