As\u00ed que los alimentos fortificados y enriquecidos ayudan a aumentar esta ingesta de vitaminas y minerales de adultos y tambi\u00e9n ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Alimentos fortificados<\/strong>: Estos alimentos se a\u00f1aden con nutrientes que no ocurren naturalmente en los alimentos. Mejoran la nutrici\u00f3n y se suman a los beneficios para la salud. Por ejemplo, la leche se puede fortificar con vitamina A y vitamina D.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Alimentos enriquecidos<\/strong>: Cuando los nutrientes que se perdieron durante el per\u00edodo de procesamiento se a\u00f1aden de nuevo a los alimentos para restaurar su contenido vitam\u00ednico original, se llama un alimento enriquecido. Ejemplo: harina de trigo: hierro, riboflavina y \u00e1cido f\u00f3lico se a\u00f1aden de nuevo despu\u00e9s del procesamiento.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Para los ni\u00f1os<\/strong>: A medida que los ni\u00f1os son vulnerables a las deficiencias de hierro, vitaminas del grupo B y zinc, estos alimentos ayudan a los ni\u00f1os a satisfacer sus necesidades diarias de nutrientes, ya que los alimentos fortificados y enriquecidos son buenas fuentes de zinc, hierro y vitaminas del grupo B. Sin embargo, evite los productos altos en az\u00facar, grasa o sodio y compruebe siempre la etiqueta nutricional en busca del contenido de vitaminas o minerales antes de comprar para evitar una sobredosis de ciertos nutrientes. Incluya estos alimentos junto con una dieta bien equilibrada.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Para los adultos<\/strong>: Carecen de magnesio, fibra diet\u00e9tica, vitaminas A, C, D &amp; E y calcio. As\u00ed que los alimentos que est\u00e1n fortificados o enriquecidos con estos nutrientes beneficiar\u00e1n a las personas para satisfacer sus necesidades diarias.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Estos alimentos ayudan a luchar contra las deficiencias de nutrientes y tienden a mejorar nuestra salud general. Ayudan a llenar los vac\u00edos nutricionales y aumentar nuestro consumo de vitaminas y minerales. Aunque uno no puede confiar total y s\u00f3lo en alimentos fortificados o enriquecidos como una dieta saludable con alimentos y verduras enteras es muy importante para satisfacer las necesidades diarias.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>De acuerdo con las regulaciones de la FSSAI, los alimentos b\u00e1sicos como el arroz y la harina de trigo est\u00e1n fortificados con B12, el \u00e1cido f\u00f3lico y el hierro, la leche y los aceites comestibles se fortifican con vitamina A y D y se realiza una doble fortificaci\u00f3n de la sal con hierro y yodo para reducir la carga de las deficiencias de micronutrientes en la India.
